Everyone drools over Avants, but all I want are RS4 sedans.

Maybe it has to do with my overexposure to boring, black 2L diesel A4s. I swear, they are everywhere in Germany as they are the basic and most common company car.

rs4 sedans are awesome and underated. Beautiful sounding v8 and great parts standard like 8 piston brakes from audi! thats right not a typo. Wonderful tranny. I have driven an e92 m3 comp package dct, it felt great. lighter, but not necessarily anymore capable on the bumpy back roads I was on, although it did feel extremely planted as well. Throw in some rain and the rs4 instant becomes more usable of a car. Don't understand why they don't bring it here anymore?

So far there was only one mass produced RS4 sedan, the in my opinion astonishingly ugly B7.

To make matters worse, it understeered like a b*tch (noseheavy in general + V8 + AWD) on track and got its ass kicked very hard by the AMG and M rivals.

The B5 RS4 was awesome, but not available as a sedan. Luckily some people convert them, and Quattro GmbH did build one prototype.

The newest RS4 looks great, and is capable on the road, but still is not quite up to the standard set by the C63 AMG. On the short layout Hockenheim, the C63 AMG, which in its base form is already 6 years old, demolished the then brand new RS4 Avant by one second. And it didn't even run the performance enhancing sport suspension.
Still, I would take a current RS4 sedan right away, just because it looks so right.

Yeah, that's a matter of opinion. The engine was too far back, or forward, Top Gear Uk said that was the only downfall of the car.

I loooove B8 sedans... When I'm looking to replace my E90 I would love to step up into a B8 S4 with a 6MT.

IMHO The 2011+ B8's just murder BMW and Benz in the looks department.

Interesting. I can't stand pre facelift B8s because they looked dated when new and have that generic Audi 5-Box front design.

The facelift improved it significantly, but I would still prefer a facelifted W204 C-class, but that might be personal - I see the regular A4 as a rebodied Golf.

But both the Audi and Mercedes are way ahead of the BMW F30 in my book, that front end is the worst. And the rear looks way bigger than the E90s, which isn't a good thing.

Which model year is your E90? Do you already own a facelift model?

I own a 2007 so it isn't facelifted, although I've installed the facelifted headlights onto my car. I somewhat agree with you about the F30. In estoril blue and msport, it's hard NOT to love it haha.

The facelifted c class is very good looking. I see tons of them everyday, now they've become too common haha.
